Measurement Task: Topography (Shape, Structure)

In this Metrology Capability Banner (MCB) you see a topography measurement in form and structure. In the middle you can see the implant of a human tooth with millimeter precision. On the right you see the measurement image of blood cells in the micrometre range.

Measuring task: Layer thickness, layer stack

Here you see a thin film and film stack measurement. In the middle you see the film thickness of a blood bag evaluated to the micrometer. On the right you can see the thickness variation of the blood bag along a profile.

Measuring task: Roughness and waviness measurement

In the MCB you can see a DIN/ISO-compliant roughness and waviness measurement. In the middle you see the 3D surface measurement of an artificial knee joint with a roughness Ra=14 nm. On the right, the roughness analysis of the medical tubing shows a value Ra=0.351 μm.
